A promise kept for 19 years.
Shri Ganesh Thakur Socio Educational Research Foundation — established 2007, working for the welfare of economically weaker sections of society.
In memory of an educationist.
The Foundation was established in 2007 in the memory of Educationist Shri Ganesh Thakur, and has been working since for the welfare of the economically weaker sections of society. It educates children with the motto “शिक्षा सबका अधिकार” — education is the basic right of everyone, and the key to the development of a country.
The Trust provides scholarships to children according to their ability and helps them complete further studies. It organises free health check-ups for people in need, and grows sports facilities for children who show promise.
Overall, the Foundation is a charitable institute that works for improvement in every field it touches — education, health, water, livelihood, environment and relief.
From our own archive — an open-air class in session.
